Please give our readers a little bit of information about yourself.

I am originally from Maryland, near Washington D.C. I came to the Midwest in 1992 to go to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and I stayed here to get my MFA at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I currently teach painting at Illinois State University in Normal, IL, and live and work between Bloomington-Normal and Chicago.
