It’s actually College of DuPage and it’s in the suburbs (Glen Ellyn) not the city proper. I teach there and these paintings look great in person.

Thanks, Jessica, for the info. When I see jpegs of tightly realistic acrylic paintings, I worry about surface/facture yuckiness. I’m glad to read the in person assessment.

I honestly thought they were oil paintings until I read the gallery tags.

  Hi! I ran across your blog when updating my website. Thanks very much for posting about my work! And I like your blog.
  I just wanted to clarify, since medium was mentioned, that they are oil paintings with an acrylic base, so technically both.
