PS, just went to see Martha Armstrong give a talk at TU today. I may post a link to that show next…she’s definitely an east coaster but she taught at IU for a bit.
Yeah, I think shows happening in the midwest count. The Kemper Museum in Kansas City is about to open a show of East German painters. I am definitely figuring on linking to that.
PS Melanie tells me that Martha bases the forms off of drawings, at least some of which she made in Italy from landscape and cityscape motifs a few years ago.
