Fine, fine work! I’m thrilled to see serious abstract paintings.
Saw a show of his work at the Central Utah Art Center last year. The work is very exciting to see “in the flesh,” navigating an interesting space of both rigor and play.
Rigor and play-agreed. Nuance, or maybe I’d call it the anectdotal aspect, plays a huge role in Chilton’s paintings.
